Android logoSwiftKey is one of the most popular and powerful keyboard applications for Android and of course I had included it in my 7 android keyboard applications article in the past. Its success is based on its great word prediction. However a thing it was missing was the ability to swipe through letters without having to lift your finger from the keyboard, unlike Swype. Today SwiftKey has made public a beta version of SwiftKey Flow. Now you can swipe through words and even full sentences. Here is a video to understand better what I mean.

Android logoA Google employee has published an interesting comic named Robot Evolution showing the evolution of Android OS. Until now there isn't any official statement on whether the future Android 5.0 version running on tablets and mobile phone will be named Key Lime Pie. We will have to wait until the next Google I/O which will take place on May of 2013 to find out. Of course there will be leaks before that! Anyway here is the image.

With the 4.2 camera app Photo Sphere lets you create 360-degrees photos. Its developers were inspired by Street View in Google Maps but you don't need sophisticated cameras and pieces of equipment. Just your Android smartphone.
