If you have an Android or iOS device most probably you have played Cut the Rope. In case you don't know it Cut the Rope is a physics based puzzle game. The goal is to feed a monster with kindes which are hanging by ropes by cutting them. Microsoft along with the developers of zeptolab published a browser version of this game during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
They intended to show of Internet Explorer's 9 Javascript and HTML5 capabilities as well as the ease in which developers can create web apps. However since the game uses open standards you don't have to play it on IE! ;P You can use any other HTML5 capable browser such as Google Chrome/Chromium, Firefox etc. Moreover this means that you can easily play in on any Linux distribution such us Ubuntu, Fedora, Archlinux and so on!
