How to easily disable YouTube annotations on videos

I don't know someone who likes annotations on YouTube videos. So it's really annoying that I have to click off annotations while watching a YouTube video. Fortunately turning them off is very easy.

Log into YouTube Playback Settings page. Untick Show annotations on videos. Click Save. In the same way you can also disable captions.

That's it. No more annotations!
