bluray logoLet's say that you have some Matroska .mkv files and you want to convert them to Blu-ray format. In this guide I will show you how to author a Blu-ray by using tsMuxer. tsMuxer is a freeware and has versions for Windows, Linux and Mac OS. So, download tsMuxer and let's begin.

This is the main window.

Press the Add button to load your .mkv files (1). Choose to Create Blu-ray disk as Output (2). Click browse button and choose the name and location for your file (3).

You can also create chapters or have no chapters at all. The default is to create a chapter every 5 minutes.

Moreover you can adjust your subtitles font, color, border, position etc.

When everything is ready click Start muxing to begin with the convertion.

The whole process is pretty fast and the video and audio quality will remain untouched. After a while a complete Blu-ray structure will be created in your destination folder.

Now you are ready to burn those files to a Blu-ray disc. I will show you how in a future guide.

Hi,

Great, easy to follow guide. As far as I recall I just went with the defaults. I used Imgburn to create the disc but a guide might be helpful.
I'd like to see a Guide that covered how to compress a file, using freeware tools, so that they would fit on a single layer disc.
Thanks for the help.
