			<description>Thanks! The new interface on 11.10 is called Unity. Some people like it and others don't. Anyway in the login manager of 11.10 you might have an option called GNOME Classic. I think this is the option you want. If there isn't check this article. There are a couple of screenshots to understand better what I am talking about.

Only one thing missing (unless I just missed it) is how to get rid of the stupid sidebar menu boxes and go back to the &quot;Classic&quot; display with the Applications Places and System on the top toolbar.  I went back to 11.04 just for that reason alone.  My other half loves it.  It should be voluntary, not forced on people. - GrumpyOleMan</description>
