Let’s say that you want to transfer some videos to your PSP, iPod or Smart Phone and you can’t find the way as long as they don’t support all the known video formats. Copy to PSP:

Run WinAvi Video Converter and hit the PSP button as shown on the image below:

Select the desired video file and then hit the browse button to select the directory you want your output video to be stored. Moreover you can check the “Transport MP4 files to PSP directly” box, if you want to have your video files automatically transferred to your PSP. Next, hit the “Advanced” button, in order to make some further adjustments.

On the “encode” tab of the MMO window that appeared, the only change we have to do is to check the “Soften Picture” box, in order to take a smooth, slightly “blured” result. Of course you can make changes on your video size. It depends on your own will and needs.

On the “PSP Video MP4” tab you can set your video Frame Rate, Bitrate, Size and Audio Bitrate. We would suggest to use the default settings. You can also have your video split into more than one videos, depending on their size.

Finally hit the “OK” button on the MMO window and continue with the whole process. Your video will be ready within a few minutes !
