However many people prefer reading this information on a printed book accesssible even when they are not online or don't have a computer in front of them. Installing Ubuntu Linux

Now we can power on our virtual machine. Just click on the Start button (1). The procedure below can also be used as a separate How to install Ubuntu Linux guide.



A message will pop-up at this point. VirtualBox auto captures mouse and keyboard by default. To uncapture them just hit Right Ctrl button which is the default host key. So, just click ok on this message.

Select your preferable Language and select Install Ubuntu.



In the Welcome Screen just select your Language and click Forward.



Use the map to find your Country and Time zone.



Select your Keyboard Layout.



Leave the defaults at the Prepare Disk Space screen.



Next select your accounts username, password and your machine's name.



And now we are ready to install Ubuntu on our Virtual Machine.





When the installation completes click the Restart Now button.



At this point click Machine -> Close -> Power off Machine.
