Just a notice. This guide refers to Joomla 1.0.x while here I use Joomla 1.5. So there should be some changes durings the install process. I was looking for where to kept my uncompressed folder joomla in fedora 9.In the official site it was in /usr/local/www/public_html/joomla and it should be /var/www/html/joomla for me but it won't work.
